Hii there! we are Durgesh and Nithya, the husband and wife duo, we are Kiyo shotz.
What started as an insatiable hobby turned into our full-time career and getting paid for what we love doing is an amazing feel. Though we are certified and specialized in new born and maternity photography, we also have professional hands on experience in various other types of photography such as fashion, product & weddings. We have photographed over 1000 babies and soon to be mommies, over 30 weddings and many product photography.
What is kiyo shotz mentorship programme?
Kiyo shotz mentorship is one on one, in-person guidance program where we teach you everything we have learnt in our journey as photographers for the past 11 years to create the images we do now.
Who is it for?
The mentorship program is for anyone who has a passion for photography and wishes to up their game multi-fold.
Difference between workshop and one on one mentoring:
Having attended many workshops, we would say it is a great way to learn a concept, but what if you wanted to learn a bunch of concepts and not just one? what if you are in a certain level of proficiency and want to learn both basic and advanced level in the field? attending individual workshops take up a lot of money and more importantly, a lot of your time. the downside is, in all photography related workshops the lighting, camera settings, gear and content overlap in most part, meaning you will be paying the entire workshop every time for the already familiar 80% of the content. This is where our mentorship program tries to bridge the gap.
Mentorship Fee: Rs.1,00,000/- ( One Lakh )
What do we teach in the mentorship programme:
Operation of camera, use of flash and studio lightings, backdrops and props sourcing and making, our list of vendors, how to use lightroom and photoshop to enhance and create stunning outputs, artistic side of the business and more importantly the business side of our art and much more.
Fees and Duration of the Mentorship programme:
Mentorship Fee: Rs.1,00,000/- ( One Lakh )
Duration for in-person Mentorship: 2 Days .
For Online Mentorship: 8 Sessions (2 – 2.5 hrs each)

Introduction to studio lights. hands on experience in using them. Mixing natural light and flash light.
Newborn photography :
preparing setups for newborn photography. Newborn safety , different wrapping and posing styles of the baby. Hands on wrapping practice with a stand in baby doll. Posing the newborn with parents.
Maternity photography:
How to pose, light, choose and source dresses for maternity shoot.
Editing:
effective Lightroom and Photoshop workflow. In detail analysis of our straight out of camera images and our final images.
